My last encounter with programs was Lisp in CAD applications. Lisp can be a real pain but it actually gave us the ability to both load (and unload) applications in addition to having an 'auto loading starting folder' with all the special applications needed (typically about 25 more or less) every time the CAD system was used.
Having to manually load every single script every single time XY is started must be a major pain that would more or less devalue scripts and cause lots of *sigh* & *getting sick of this* utterances.
It definitely would or could cause a sour disposition in anybody.
"This topic is locked" What is this stuff all about and why? Most of us are not accustomed to censorship except in very rare circumstances.

Re: Devalued Scripts in XY
Your postings come across as a never-ending series of unjustified insinuations. You blame on the program what's actually your own short-comings in reading the manual or the countless helping posts you received here. E.g. now you come up with "Devalued Scripts in XY". Huh? You see? It took you just 4 words to look like a hopeless jerk. Why are you doing this? People here are extremely helpful. Describe your problem and you will be helped. Continue the old way, and your threads will be locked because they will lead to nothing,

And you can do the same with a script invoked when starting XY? oOLisp can be a real pain but it actually gave us the ability to both load (and unload) applications in addition to having an 'auto loading starting folder' with all the special applications needed (typically about 25 more or less) every time the CAD system was used
Again, see the above point (for whatever reasons somebody would want to run <x> scripts on startup instead of when they are needed for a specific purpose)...Having to manually load every single script every single time XY
