Default File Manager
Default File Manager
In Configuration I have ticked the option to use XYPlorer as the default file manager. It claims that doing this will cause double clicked files or folders to open in XYPlorer. Howvever when I double click on a folder on the desktop, nothing happens. Even with an XYPlorer window visible on the desktop, double clicking the folder does absolutely nothing. Why is this?
Re: Default File Manager
Post a screenshot of regedit.exe with the following path:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\Directory\Shell\XYplorer\Command

The key does not contain an XYplorer entry - see attached

Re: Default File Manager
Did you use "Only for the current user" in "Scope:" (Configuration | Other | Shell Integration | Default File Manager)?
If yes, remove both checkmarks, set them again, check the registry

Re: Default File Manager
Did that. Reg entry is now present and all appears to be OK.
