Path folder when opening XYplorer with Firefox or Windows Explorer

Post by Rainette »

Hi,
When I open a folder in XYplorer by double-cliking in Windows Explorer or cliking on "Open Containing Folder " in the" Downloads button", the folder's path is like "DATA (D:)\test\". This writing make errors in XYplorer. What can I do for having the adress "D:\test\" automatically?
Thank you.

Strange, works fine here. Is that Win10?

Configuration | Shell Integration | Default File Manager | Scope

Is it "Only for the current user" or "For all users of this computer"?

If it's the first, show the entry of:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\Directory\Shell\XYplorer\Command

For the second, show:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Directory\Shell\XYplorer\Command

You need to start "regedit" to get access to these registry keys...
