Hello, I have several external hard drives that I have used to back-up data from various computers throughout the years and I did poor version control, so I have dozens of copies of the same data in some cases across multiple hard drives, but yet each hard drive has some unique data as well.
How could I use XYPlorer to help automatically compare the contents of different hard drives to identify which files are duplicated and which ones are unique?
Thanks
Identify Duplicate and Unique Files
Re: Identify Duplicate and Unique Files
You could switch both panes into branch view mode (Menu - View - Views - Branch View)
and then use Menu - Panes - Sync Select...
and one of it's settings
But that probably depends a lot on the amount of data you want to compare / process here...
