Xyplorer keeps downgrading from 17.xx to 16.xx. Help.

I use paid for version, just bought in the last week. I have used trial in the past. But can't seem to get the newest version.

I have a problem showing that my config file shows ver 16.10.0900 and
keeps downgrading from the latest ver of 17.xxx. I have tried to update
to the latest version, but keeps downgrading to 16.19.0900. I even
deleted xyplorer and re-installed with the latest software update. But
keeps downgrading.

Sounds weird. Of course, XY does not auto-downgrade. Could it be that your configuration files are not writable for some reason?
