Where Folders are sorted

Keep Folders On Top is part of Configuration. Is there a way to mix the files on folders in List View without having to alter Configuration settings? Have tried #333 but that doesn't seem to do it.

Is something else involved here?

#333; works fine here to toggle that setting?
