Links folder doesn't show up
Links folder doesn't show up
Well
Since one day I deleted Links folder from the tree it didn't show up again regardless the fact I have it turned on in configuration - Tree and list - Show Links folder.
What can I do to have it again in the Tree ?

Re: Links folder doesn't show up
Add "Links" to the top of the Mini Tree (assuming you use the Mini Tree) in Tools | List Management | Mini Tree...

Re: Links folder doesn't show up
The Links folder is again in the Mini Tree but it is not in the beginning, it follows the natural system Tree order.
All the other folders of the Mini Tree also are in natural system order they are not in the order tehy appear in the List management.
Is this OK? Or can be changed?

Re: Links folder doesn't show up
The Mini Tree definition works like this:
- the top node is the current node
- all nodes below should be in the natural tree order
This is not the case at your end?

I think what's being questioned is actually the order shown in the mini tree vs that in the List Management | Mini Tree.. dialog.admin wrote:This is not the case at your end?
And I do not believe that the List Management dialog's order has any bearing on anything.

Yes. It reflects the state of the Mini Tree when you open it, but it does not work the other way round: you cannot modify the order of nodes in the tree.TheQwerty wrote:I think what's being questioned is actually the order shown in the mini tree vs that in the List Management | Mini Tree.. dialog.admin wrote:This is not the case at your end?

Re: Links folder doesn't show up
Thanks, looks okay so far.
Now, in Tools | List Management | Mini Tree... you press the New button and call the new item "Links" (without the quotes). Now you OK the dialog. You should have Links now in the Mini Tree.

Re: Links folder doesn't show up
Links is already in the Tree.
Now these issues takes me to another question:
Whenever I browse folders they appear in the MiniTree, but I don't want they show up in the MiniTree, I want to have only those that I have in the List management, or that I define as my favorites. Is this possible, to avoid new folders to appear? Or do I have to define a Favorite MiniTree to come back to my initial MiniTree?

Re: Links folder doesn't show up
Yes, you can add paths to the MiniTree without unlocking the tree.
