How to return a simple Drag and drop?

Post by Slavaon »

Stopped working a simple drag and drop the file into the folder.
It turns out now to move the file to a folder must do two things:
1) Select the file.
2) Move to folder.

How to return, as it has always been - just pick up and move the file to a folder?

Probably

Code: Select all

v15.70.0131 - 2015-09-21 16:45
    * List: Revised the changes from v15.70.0105 - 2015-09-06 17:21.
Now in Thumbnails and Tiles views, clicking anywhere within the cell will
select the item, but you can lasso select from any white space within the
cell of an unselected item (which will get selected on mouse down).
This is exactly as Explorer behaves in Win 8 (and probably Win 10).
Troublesome with FRS too, btw...

Yes I saw it.
Likely, it is necessary to add control or Tweak to disconnect it.
People use File Managers because there it is possible to adjust as conveniently...

In my case clicking on the name will allow instant drag and drop.

Yes I know that.
But it is not convenient - the mouse to aim in a relatively small area, especially if the names small.

These were complex (and IMO useful) changes. There is no way back to the old behavior.

Very sorry.
But I don't throw XYplorer, over the years, the program helped me in many ways.
