Qwerty seems like a fine name to me. If you're going to change it though, I'd recommend "Asdf."

Looks useful. Let's make a note for CC 2.0.

TheQwerty wrote:1) Using the Load SC within a CC Script causes XY to resume obeying the step mode setting in the loaded script - if it's easier to "fix" this by introducing a new, separate "Script File" CC type I'm okay with that.

(This also ties back into a still not yet fully fleshed out idea for trusted script files - previously mentioned here.)
Sorry but I apparently never checked your fix on this, and unfortunately it's one of the rare times where it didn't work.

A Custom Column Script with Load stills shows the stepping dialog when enabled in 14.20.

Hi Don,

preface: I don't remember/know wether the following has always been asked for.

I have only just entered the world of scripted CCs but immediately see the need for a quicker access to an already defined CC script, especially during an extended "debugging/Trial & Error" session.

Proposal:
Once a CC is defined (for example, Select Customn Column... is checked in the context menu), the corresponding Edit action is also available straight from the CC's header context menu.

Rationale: Make CC editing (much) more snappy.

Cheers,
Filehero

I actually had that function in the context menu but it did not work well, so I removed it. I might revisit it later.

...

OK, I will give it a try in next beta.

Hi Don,

I need a Format Date without Time, something which accepts a string like "12.07.2014" and treats it like a date (sort!) without adding the timestamp "00:00:00" for display.

Thanks & cheers,
Filehero

I think I"m missing something but I can't figure out how to use the file filters to exclude both jpg and png from custom column script processing. I tried using !jpg;!png and several other ways but none of them work. I feel like it's a simple thing but I just can't seem to figure it out. Can someone help me? Thanks!

The patterns are OR-combined. !jpg;!png = (NOT JPG) OR (NOT PNG). This matches every file. :)

I have seen it. Both, the wish and the game. I decided in favor of the game. :)

Hi Don,

in the summer I have started to build a GPX/Track View using CCs (and some basic scripting which will be expanded further this year).
In my, now ending, holidays I have hiked (well, it was partly rather damn hard work...) another bunch of GPX logs which are waiting happily for further processing.
For that I need, amongst others, one column to display a track's date in a sortable manner. Do you think, you can support this wish in one of the upcoming beta versions?
