Column width auto adjust bug?

It does not appear to adjust the column width with long names of files or paths. Works for short names so is there a maximum width it adjusts to, and can this be preset? Adjust all widths does the trick but that is not remembered when TrackerV3 is closed and reopened (something I know you never do!!).

You guessed right: the max with in Column Width Auto Adjustment mode is hard-coded to 256 pixels to avoid being confronted with too hulky columns.

Tip: Another way to quickly "Adjust all widths" (this is a command, not a setting, so it is no bug that it is not remembered) is to dblclick the line number column header.
