Regular expression find files and delete

Post by Gandolf » 29 Aug 2004 11:51

Using ">\.htm" to find all files with html and htm extensions. Delete one of the files and the list of found files goes blank. Using "*.htm*" when a file is deleted all the other found files remain in the list.

Auto-refresh on file system changes is on.

Further, if I then restore the deleted file the found file display goes blank in RegExp find mode, but in standard find file mode the found list is updated.

Hey, very good! I'm slightly shocked that I did not see this right away myself. Pretty serious little bug. It's fixed now, the BETA will come tonight.

Excellent, it took me rather by surprise and I spent some time to make sure that it was not something silly I was doing.
