Unable to focus on empty CD drive

Using Page-Down to move some distance down the tree. No CD in the drive. Focus ended up on the CD drive and immediately jumped back to the previous position in the tree list. I had to use the arrow keys to move to the folder I required, which was immediately above the CD drive. I know I could use the rodent but I prefer to work with the keyboard. Is there a good reason why TrackerV3 cannot simply display an empty file window for the CD drive if there is no disk in it? Even better a message like "No disk in drive".

There is a reason, but it's not a good one: I designed this behavior years ago still under Win95 trying match Explorer behavior wherever possible.
Now, when I think about it, I like your idea much better! Thanks.

True, but too much trouble internally. The list view is just not made for this. But the BETA I just uploaded meets your main point: now you can focus the unfocusable! 8)

Thanks, that's excellent. The main problem, as you realised, was the jumping focus. Scrolling down the tree is now much easier.
