Sudden Crash (Run-time error '91')

Post by aimy »

I can't take it anymore.

Since XYplorer introduce font customization for Main Content Fonts..Apply to... I cannot save my setting no matter what options I checked.

After I check anything and click OK, Xyplorer would suddenly closed.

And after XYplorer introduce this feature, I cannot use the backup button anymore.

It would prompt me with this error:

Code: Select all

---------------------------
XYplorer
---------------------------
Run-time error '91':

Object variable or With block variable not set
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------
and hangs!

Please help me.

Thank you.

Seeing that.. How do I make XYplorer save its settings within the program folder itself rather than the default Windows/Application Data?

Thank you.

Your settings so far look non-suspicious to me. Could you also send your font settings (maybe a screenshot of Configuration / Fonts)?

:? This is already the case in your setup now. This is your program folder and your data folder: D:\My Programs\Misc\XYplorer\.

As in the screenshot, even if I hit the Cancel button also, the XYplorer would instantly crash and exit immediately after that.

By the way, what about the Backup to error I mentioned previously?

Code: Select all

---------------------------
XYplorer
---------------------------
Run-time error '91':

Object variable or With block variable not set
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------
Thank you.

Thanks, no problems with the font.

Cannot explain your issues. Maybe one of the things that are visible in the titlebars in your screenshots?

I meant maybe one of the things in your titlebar causes the issue.

Oh OK.

I dont think so coz they already exist long before the latest version of XYplorer i.e. the one with specific font settings.

Anyway, is there anything you could help with the VB error? :(

Thanks.

Hmm.. I've tried a fresh install to another folder, it's still the same.

After I open the Apply to selection, it would crash even with the Cancel button :(

This one button is the only Cancel button that crashes the app?
