For native variables, the [CHM] help file states <cuttab> as a variable, which is a misspelling of <curtab>. Every little helps :P

I think there should be a single topic for typos. Let's use this one.

I agree.
Only that the Topic title should be renamed for a more meaningful purpose, like "Help and Site Misspellings" or "Documentation Misspellings".

In the help manual under Scripting Commands Reference, the examples for the SC rename

Code: Select all

rename r, "\.html$>.htm", p;
should be

Code: Select all

rename r, "\.html$ > .htm", p;
since the spaces for the arrow is important.

Is the FAQ index outdated?
For instance, http://www.xyplorer.com/faq.php does not lists http://www.xyplorer.com/faq-topic.php?id=QVP and I'm sure more is missing (can't recall another example, though).

There are many more topics written than listed in the FAQ. I want to keep the list tight. It's really the MFAQ (Most-FAQ).

But without any sort of URL being there, those other topics are essentially not findable other than by posting here or maybe a forum search -so- maybe as compromise, have a new section at bottom that doesn't use the Q&A style but just a list of URL/links using a 2-4 word description (instead of "here") and call it "Other topics" or such.

This could make it easier for users to find answers themselves.
