Yellow Icon

Post by rod147 »

When I minimise to tray the icon turns yellow instead of orange, is this right?

The contrast makes its impossible to distinguish the white XY

Uhhhh, no. Not intended. Check your color depth... What OS?

Didn't you notice this kind of effect with any other apps? Obviously your system tray does not support truecolor.
What would be the nearest color that's supported by 8-bit environments? That's so long ago that I had to deal with these limitations, I'm not inclined anymore to adapt to them. I like my orange, it's FF9900, nothing exotic.

I just noticed that the XY icon displayed in ZoneAlarms program control list is also yellow with white lettering. That program must do some strange rounding with it's icon colours because my tray XY icon is the expected orange.

O.S. is Windows XP.
