128x128 thumbnail of image causes crash: Run-time error '97'

Unfortunately XYplorer seems a bit buggy in Vista. I wasn't getting as many crashes in XP.

I ran into a strange bug which wasn't happening before. It happened only in my "My Pictures" folder, which is C:\Pics\. If I went to view it with 128x128 thumbnails, it crashed. It only happened in that folder, and only if it contained images (any image, no particular one). It also only happened with 128x128.

This is the crash:

Run-time error '97':
Can not call friend function on object which is not an instance of defining class.

That happened with every method of showing thumbnails (menu or toolbar button), except if I used the keyboard shortcut for 128x128 thumbnails, in which case I got this which XYplorer offered to copy to the clipboard:

As with all XYplorer crashes, the only way to quit is to terminate the process through Task Manager.

I managed to fix this by reinstalling with a completely new setup. So it must have been a configuration issue. Very weird and I realise you probably can't do anything about it since I can't reproduce it now.
