Oups! Don't know what happened, seems like a browser hickup (combined with my "bad" habit to sometimes act as a plain dumb user and starting to hammer-click a button when a system feels sluggish).

Sorry (the dupes can be deleted, of course).

In this shadow instance building or refreshing thumbnails, might it be possible, since it is in a shadow, to allow this thumbnail building capability in folders other than the "current" folder of the primary instance? That sure would be a great feature in itself. Having to be in the current folder has always been a major drawback in building thumbnails. Thanks.

To incorporate this shadow instance for thumbnail building, would you have to have a scripting command or function equivalent to CID #501 that would have a parameter for a folder? If a folder path is not present, it would assume the current. Something similar to this possibly: :)

Code: Select all

Thumbsrefresh ([path], [type = 1], [shadow=1])

type:
normal full refreshing (1) - default
refresh selected (2)
create missing thumbnails (3)
shadow:
thumbnail refreshing in shadow instance (1) - default
in current instance (0)

It's a rough plan in its first stage. I did not yet start any real thinking... relax. :)
