The data is not displayed correctly
The data is not displayed correctly
The size of the folder shows that the data is wrong. As shown in the figure, the first one is to select the folder, and the second one is to open the selected folder. The two are displayed differently in the status bar. The first one is the data displayed when the cache was started. Later, the files in the folder were added, but it was still displayed as the number of files at the beginning, which was seriously inconsistent.

Re: The data is not displayed correctly
Not sure what you mean. A cache can be stale. That's natural.

Re: The data is not displayed correctly
It's not that the cache is invalid, it's the state of the cache at the beginning, and it's always the same. And the files in this folder are changing (increasing or decreasing).
Re: The data is not displayed correctly
For example: a folder, selected a few days ago, the status bar shows how many files it contains, how many folders, what is the total size, etc., but after a few days, the files in this folder have changed, such as increased , it still shows the value of the previous days. OK! Can you understand?

Re: The data is not displayed correctly
You say "It's not that the cache is invalid", so do you get this also when caching is turned off?

Re: The data is not displayed correctly
If the cache is turned off, the results of this folder are consistent before and after it is selected and opened.

Re: The data is not displayed correctly
And why you say "It's not that the cache is invalid"? I had enough coffee but I'm still in the dark about this issue. Looks like stale cache me. shrug.

Re: The data is not displayed correctly
At the moment I cannot see any problem with the Folder Size Cache. Works fine here.
