Cannot reproduce. There's probably more to it than this script. Try to narrow it down further.

not sure if it is enough information but occurs repeatedly this way
button with content:
Name:xy
Icon:<xy>
left click: load "xy"
right click: #265

I have attached the script file and short video to confirm that it is a repeatable error

Actually I vaguely remember that this glitch happened some years ago, but I think it was solved back then, I never saw it again.

Ages ago I got repro steps to fix 2 similar issues, I do still occasionally see what the OP is reporting, but it fixes itself on mouse over anyway (no need for "toggle dark button") and personally I've never been able to get 100% repro steps, so have never reported again since (OPs steps are not repro-able for me.) One thing I will mention is it only ever happens to me with CTBs (hence the drop is a requirement).
