VirusTotal flags 22.70 portable version as malicious

Post by bartoli.alberto »

The subject says it all.

This is quite worrying/annoying.

Any suggestion?

The installer version is not flagged.

Thanks a lot.

I know what a false positive is and I know that AV do exihibit false positives.

But attacks to the "supply chain" are more and more widespread. As you certainly know, these things do happen (https://www.theverge.com/2017/9/18/1632 ... e-security) and an utility like XYplorer is certainly an attractive target.

As a person that has paid a lifetime license I would really like to see all claimed false positives removed.
