251.PDF Shows no path. 252.jpg Has the path as wanted for this and any other file.
(Wish List - sure would be nice if the listing display could be edited - say what is in display and the order of lines)

Re: I GET NO PATH FOR A PDF - WHY?
No idea why some fields are empty. Those data come from Windows. You can select the ones you want to see here: Configuration | Information | File Info Tips & Hover Box | Show these fields. But not each field has contents with each file.

Re: I GET NO PATH FOR A PDF - WHY?
I did not understand the "PS: What happened to your keyboard?"
I looked at the File info and Hover box...
Each of the two files have a path to the same place and next to each other. Only the JPG displays - the PDF does not display a path.
The hover box config has all 8 items checked.
I have really gotten to like the function and can not understand why the difference in actual display.
I have plenty of other PDF files and they display just fine - just redid the search - nothing changed - same display.
That is why I posted it under Bug Report. Why the KB hint?

Re: I GET NO PATH FOR A PDF - WHY?
Well, as I said before, I cannot explain it. Nor confirm it. Works fine here.

As you don't seem to get it - to caps lock: have a lock look at the title of this thread.

So this is all part of a ruse.
Lots of pdf will not display the path.

This is the Mag cover - no difference.
You can google the manual for a file to test - if I may say so.

Re: I GET NO PATH FOR A PDF - WHY?
You must have installed some 3rd party app/extension that messes with the shell properties of PDF's because "Pages" as shown in your first screenshot is not a returned shell property for PDF's without installing an extra shell property handler.
Re: I GET NO PATH FOR A PDF - WHY?
Right or wrong - gets me no closer to a solution. There is lots pf stuff on this PC!
It is just 1or 2 out of 10 or 20 that will not display the path. Then again all the magazines - none will show the path. So I end up flipping to Details and back - not nice.

"Path = ..." is there at #194. You probably just have to tick it: Configuration | Information | File Info Tips & Hover Box | Show these fields
