Hi,
I have a network share with some customized folder icons.
When in full tree mode, every folder icon is properly displayed.
When switching to MiniTree, 2 things happen :
- folders only show default icons
- the "localized" folder names revert to 'real' names.
I hope it's not some option I missed !

Re: Mini Tree and network drive
Try to turn off:
Configuration | General | Tree and List | Tree | Show localized folder names
Configuration | General | Controls & More | Miscellaneous | Allow zombies in the Mini Tree

Re: Mini Tree and network drive
Thanks for your answer.
"Show localized folder names" was already ON,
"Allow zombies in the Mini Tree" was OFF but turning it ON didn't change anything.
By the way the folders displayed on the capture are the same so the one not being localized is "Downloads", the others are ok.
