When deleting the program (XY64contents.exe) in the directory, right-click the picture and the above dialog box will not appear. But it takes a long time to pop up the right-click menu. What a weird thing, why haven't I found it before?

In addition, in win7 64 bit system, this problem also occurs in the right-click video file in the latest version of xyplorer.

You are aware that you can edit a post to add stuff, there's no need for several consecutive posts without any replies in between.
XY64ctxmenu.exe and XY64contents.exe are different programs, the 1st is responsible for the 64bit context menu, the 2nd for preview of files with 64bit iFilters. It is not a good idea to delete exe files from program folders.
Problems with the context menu are usually caused by faulty 3rd party context menu entries, for a quick test tick the bottom setting in the picture below: Save your settings and see whether the problem persists.

Here, no matter how you set it up, the problem still exists.

Looks like the XY64contents.exe process got stuck in memory. In that case you can kill the process in task Manager.
But you certainly should not delete the file XY64contents.exe! It's part of XYplorer.
I assume it's a one-time issue that's why you have not seen it before.

It's not a one-off problem. Now that it is discovered, it has always existed. No matter how it is set, it exists.admin wrote: ↑24 Nov 2021 07:23Looks like the XY64contents.exe process got stuck in memory. In that case you can kill the process in task Manager.

In addition, remove the media files (pictures, audio and video), and the right-click menus of other files are normal.

I meant XY64ctxmenu.exe, of course, not XY64contents.exe.
Anyway, I cannot explain it at the moment. But I think if it always existed you would have noticed it earlier, right?

Remove this check, and then delete "XY64ctxmenu.exe", it is completely normal (the right-click menu of media files can be displayed on the right).
In order to help you find the problem, I also tried to find the cause.

I haven't noticed that it is the reason why the previous version is upgraded to the latest version.

Let's see if it's a problem with my system. Then report back.

The problem is solved. It was caused by Apple's cloud program installed in my system. XY independent. This post is closed.
