The styles "Frame" and "Frame with Shadow" do not produce even frame outlines for thumbnails when the "Zoom to fill" option is enabled, and "Show film strip overlay on video thumbnails" is disabled.
For "Frame", the white top and bottom edges of the frame are thicker than the sides, and for "Frame with Shadow", the left and right edges go missing completely.
With the "Zoom to fill" option disabled, the frames are even outlines all around, regardless of which frame style is used (as expected).
Setting the "Use" background colour to a dark colour helps illustrate the "Zoom to fill" issues.
Also, something that may or may not be intentional is that the "Show file icon on thumbnail" doesn't affect the thumbnails shown in Tile views. Only the Thumbnail views are affected.
Thanks!

Re: Thumbnail Frame styles not even outlines with "Zoom to fill" enabled
That is actually on purpose. It shows you where parts of the image were cut off by the zoom-to-fill process.
Yes, "Show file icon on thumbnail" should probably also affect the Tiles thumbnails. I'll change that.
