Keeps crashing

I have ver 22.10. This, and the previous version, crashes frequently. It is particularly bad when I right click on a zip file and select unzip by an external unzipping program ( I use Ashampoo ZIP pro 3).

Any suggestions as to how I might fix this?

Does it crash (at all, regardless on what you're doing) if you have this setting ticked:
Configuration | General | Menus, Mouse, Usability | Context Menus | Hide shell extensions from shell context menu

No, it doesn't seem to happen in this situation, but I then of course don't see my normal right click menu.

I should have mentioned that the normal pattern was for the first unzip to work fine, but the crash happened after the second or third unzipping attempt.

Bad 3rd party context menu handlers. WinRAR / 7Zip context menu handlers haven't had any reports on not working 100% fine in XY...

Ashampoo ZIP pro 3 is one of its typical programs which cost a lot on money and doing nothing special.
