I'm not even sure this is an Xyplorer bug yet, only that it is very annoying (and potentially dangerous). The bug: it seems that every once in a while, the first, or first few, image(s) in a folder (on the D: drive) are randomly overwritten with images from another folder (from the C: drive)...it's the right filename...but the image (data) itself has been replaced...
I've reinstalled Windows, run disk checks, and am moving things from the one drive, just in case...but I find it very vexing...help?
Replaced files?
Re: Replaced files?
With this information no one can guess what the problem is in your case.
You should try to watch the critical places while you are doing your normal work with XY.
There may be of course other tools running in the background which are not related of your activities.
