"Swith to" bug, again

Post by gabrielvirgilio »

When I select "miniatures" on some video files I receive the error

Image

the only possibility is a forced closure of the program.
it is impossible for me to use the thumbnails on the video files

This message is an ill-designed attempt of Windows to help you. Nothing can stop it. It (usually, but not always) comes when you try to click somewhere while a process is ongoing. Just wait until the thumbnails are created, or press ESC to stop the creation.

What were you trying to do when it came up?

the problem comes when I create video previews
the esc button has no effect

it no longer unlocks unless the program is forcibly closed

since the problem arises when creating previews of some videos,
I tried to uninstall the k-lite codecs and I found that without these, the problem does not happen.

but so i can't use xyplorer with klite codecs installed

I think this is the same as the talk we had here: viewtopic.php?p=186504#p186504

Especially @jupe that mentionned hte fact that recent k-lite versions have a betaa/rc version and seems to not play well with 32bit: viewtopic.php?p=186501#p186501
