Hi,
i get the wrong context menu for a shortcut (.lnk-File) on network drive. On a local drive, it works as usual.
It is a very reduced context menu.
See attachment.

Wrong context menu
Re: Wrong context menu
Does the Windows Explorer context menu show the same reduced one?

Re: Wrong context menu
I recall a change Don made very recently regarding this:
v21.30.0050 - 2020-12-20 15:57
* Shell Context Menu: It's not shown anymore for the targets of links
(shortcuts) to network locations. It just takes too long if those
locations are not available. Instead you'll see a reduced menu.

Re: Wrong context menu
Ok, thanks. But how can i change the path where the link points if i don't have the corresponding menu? Normally, you have "Properties" ("Eigenschaften") in Context menu where you can change the path where the link points. I can't find any equal action in this reduced one.
If it points to a Program location, you sometimes need to change startup parameters.

Re: Wrong context menu
I agree, I wish Don would consider making this change a tweak, as for me, my network location will never be unavailable, I would prefer to disable this reduced menu.
I suggest as Highend said, for this use case, unless/until Don implements a tweak for the reduced menu, to use Windows Explorer to access the shortcut's properties.
