XYplorer freezes when large quantity of files in the folder

As title suggests, normal file explorer doesn't freeze. Any solutions?

You might have to provide a bit more details in order to get helpful replies.
One of the usual culprits however is having XYplorer.exe and XYcopy.exe not excluded from your AV software.

Lets see, basically whenever there is more than 10,000 files in the folder, XYplorer freezes for like 5 to 10 seconds. Was wondering if anyone could potentially know why? Also AV as in Antivirus? I run WIN10 Default AV in that case then. But I can't really provide more info, just when theres a large quantity of files, it freezes

So the suggestion above still stands, can you either try to exclude the two exe's from your AV (yes = AntiVirus) software or disable the AV software temporarily and then test if it makes any difference.

I'll try and disabling and see if its still an issue.

Edit: Nop, still freezes. This time I tried clicking while it was freezing and it crashed, so best course of action if you freeze is just to wait it out. Amount of items in the folder is 6,638.
