Yes, if you can get rid of it but the main and sub-forum pages usually need to be scrolled anyway, so it doesn't bother me much.
You fixed another little annoyance along the way though, the member name and date on the right side used to be in different order before depending on the level in the forum and now they stay in the same position.

We are still missing the link to "First unread post" in threads which I used a lot and it would actually be great if this was also available from the list of threads like the button to go to the latest post.

1) Okay, I see now that this white space actually makes sense.

2) "First unread post" in threads seems to be there when there are any unread posts:

It's totally unimportant, but: the header section of we_universal is very tasty.

I am liking Flat Mode, I have a few minor color gripes, but overall it is an improvement for me, the layout is great, and the font seems much nicer to read, but maybe that is just because there is no need to zoom anymore like the previous theme I was using, which is nice, Thanks.

I think this happened the last time the forum was updated, after saving my preference for for the board style (we_universal), the format displays fine, but as soon as I log out it's gone to the the blue shorter version (maybe the default) until I log back in. Was there some trick to having your preference stick even when logged out? It did before and I may have forgotten how to get it that way. And Don I still have my fingers crossed. By the way did you see the Youtube video of the Surfrajettes at Norman's Rare guitars...nice?

I checked that font and yes, I like it too! It has a friendly pop touch and is nicely readable. Maybe I make a variant of the we_universal theme...

I decided to set the guest style to vanilla blue because this scheme works better on smartphones.

Sure I saw the Surfrajettes at Norman's Rare guitars. Nothing not to like.

Worked on the small screen layout and made "we_universal" the default style now for guests and new users.

Great and much better for wide screens.

The title bar at the top of the forum (with the house background) flickers with every topic change.
This is a bit annoying and I don't recall this was happening with the "old" forum.

Just noticed, it is not the refresh of the picture but the jumping up and down of the rest of the page while this happens.
It looks like the picture gets deleted, all the text moves up, the picture refreshed and reinserted, the text moves down again.

I'm on the latest FF if this matters.

Mine was 82.0.2 (64bit) and guess what, after updating to 82.0.3 the flicker is gone completely.
Apparently FF was to blame not phpBB.
Thanks for looking into it anyway.
