I have two junctions (which target is a folder) that has same name (for example "1" )
but in different folders, for example folder e:\a and e:\b
when i cut the junction file in e:\a and paste into e:\b , there 's no confirmation dialog that tells me there 's a junction that has the same file name
the old file still there ,and the new file is replaced by the old one
hope it will be fixed
thanks

Can't confirm.

With Windows Copy as well as with Custom Copy you get a confirmation dialog (although admittedly the Custom Copy dialog says some wrong things):

PS: But it might depend on the Custom Copy configuration. Could you post a screenshof of that dialog (in English):

Thank you very much , good to see that
1.how to reproduce : it seems because of checking "for cross-volume move only" in file operation => custom copy operation => use custom copy, like this settings

here is the custom copy configuration

2. After unchecking "for cross-volume move only" (and keeps other settings) :
-when i paste junction file and there is no junction file with same name => it works normally
-but when i paste it into folder that contains another junction file with same name ,(the case i report in this topic) there is error

Thank you very much for the new version
i tried version 21.00 and see the confirm dialog is "merge" and "skip" ,and it seems merge option will merge the "target" folder (target folder is the folder that junction link to)
while i expected is :
"replace", "rename" and "skip" option : (treat junction like a normal shortcut file) ,when we do something to junction, the target folder will not be changed
for more clearly, when i choose "replace" option, the new junction file will replace the old one
when i choose "rename" ,the new junction file will be rename to avoid collision
here is my current settings

OK, that's a wish and it will take a little longer this time. I made a note.

Lockdown is okay. It's the solution, not the problem.
