Hello,
I am running the XYplorer 20.90.0800 and I have been trying to change the color configuration. What is happening is that some changes are working and are being correctly applied some others do not produce any effect.
Specifically when I go to List - Browse - then left click on "Focused item" I can change the color from the default to "yellow" however focused items on the pane do not change.
The same happens when I try to change List - Browse - "Selected Rows", I can change the color with the left click but after saying "OK" nothing happens, the color on the items doesn't change. I tried this many times, I also tried to log off and log back on but still didn't handle.
Any suggestion?

Did you tick this: Tools | Customize List | Highlight Focused Item?

Re: Colors configuration partially not working
No, but I did select both customize list | Highlight Focused Item and customize list | Highlight Selected Rows after your suggestion. Apparently nothing changed so I decided to exit with and without saving. In both cases when XYPlorer reboots it shows the new color on the item already selected but as soon as I moved the mouse it goes back to the default color, in other words the new setting doesn't apply even though the two above as well as the actual configuration are all set correctly.

Probably a misunderstanding. Can you post a screenshot that shows the wrong color in the file list?

Here is the screen shot on how the configuration lists looks like.

Correction/addition:
Focused item custom color now works IF I left click in the blank area in a directory.

Ok, I assume this case is closed now.

Is that how it is supposed to work? You have to click in the blank area before the focused item color shows up?
Also the selected rows custom color still not working.
PS: This is not a "major" problem but sometimes the focused items and selected rows are not very "visible" from the rest, I am trying to make it more visible to distinguish from the rest.

Here it is. It shows both Focused Item and Selected Row. After I click in the blank area the Focused Item
turns golden (correct color I set up) while the Selected Row doesn't change and remains light blue.

Re: Colors configuration partially not working
Well, XY is written for 2-dimensional screens like yours and mine. A pixel is either blue or yellow. When the focused item is also selected then the yellow color is completely "covered" by the blue color. Which means you don't see it.
Tip: Turn off "full row select".
