Ladybird on searching by content in .eml files.

Post by zakhar »

Hello, dear Forum!

I receive a ladybird message from XYplorer each time I search by content on .eml files .
Afterwards XYplorer continues to search without any noticeable errors.
(In the picture you see a long path between C:\ and .eml . ANSI - Cyrillic.)
Thanks.

No:
only on one сertain EML file of 757 kb,
location does no matter - have tried to move it (to "C:\Users\Zakhar\Desktop") and the error11 has come again.
The name of this file does no matter too - have renamed it to "111.eml" - error11 comes.
E-mail program opens this EML file as message normally, shows content and exports PDF files without errors.
20.90.0802 (Virgin) gets this error too.

Update:

My further investigation has shown the following:
This eml file has following structure:
---------Beginn
MIME-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: multipart/mixed;
boundary="----_=_NextPart_000_00351624.5F0443B9"

------_=_NextPart_000_00351624.5F0443B9
Content-Type: multipart/alternative;
boundary="----_=_NextPart_001_00351624.5F0443B9"

------_=_NextPart_001_00351624.5F0443B9
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1
Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable

------_=_NextPart_001_00351624.5F0443B9
Content-Type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1
Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable

------_=_NextPart_001_00351624.5F0443B9--

------_=_NextPart_000_00351624.5F0443B9
Content-Type: application/octet-stream; name="<name of pdf file>.PDF"
Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64

------_=_NextPart_000_00351624.5F0443B9
Content-Type: application/octet-stream; name="<name of pdf file>.pdf"
Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64

------_=_NextPart_000_00351624.5F0443B9--
---------End

Also: 1. headers, 2. some plane text, 3. html code, 4. first pdf file, 5. second pdf file.

I have consequently deleted parts of this eml file:

The above mentioned error11 comes, if this eml file contents the 1. part AND the 5. part.
Deleting 1. part OR the 5. part removes the error11.

Sorry, but I can not do this due to privacy reasons.
If this would make a sense I could search for a string in this file (or submit some more details defined by you or what ever) for you.

This will be hard to fix. Additionally I cannot see a place in that region of code where a division by zero would be possible. So, at the moment I cannot do anything here.

Hello!
This is just a reaction on
"20.90.0902 - 2020-08-24 12:25
+ 64-bit Preview: Now supports preview of EML files."
under
viewtopic.php?f=1&p=179897#p179897

Ladybird / Error 11 is in this version still here.
(I would not like to spam here about it,
but I write here only as I see that you work in the direction of eml files.
Take it as an optional information...)

That makes it even more fascinating. So, whenever you hit an email with that error that you can send me I can fix it. :)
