new files error

None of the files I created in xyporer were opened properly,such as .py can't run ,.xlsx can't open ,But new files can be created correctly without xyplorer

Maybe, just maybe, tell us how exactly you've tried to create these files in XYplorer?
And I'd like to see the "can't run" error message (as a screenshot!) when you try to open (how: double click?) a .py file...
