hello all:
I just found out that I installed 3 different version of xyplorer, and i removed them all & downloaded the newest version.(20.90)
afterwards, video preview doesnt work anymore, instead of a static image. Theres a error message which says "automation error".

system info:
xyplorer(v20.90) running as 32bits (says in task manager)
windows10 LTSC 1809

Just fixex this.

I guess xyplorer runs "default video player", and my default was vlc player. Once i switch it back to windows media player, videos priview works again.

Maybe. Let's postpone this to after the transformation (to 64-bit).

If WMP is the only player XY can use for video preview, why not just look for it directly in This way users could make any player default and XY would still use WMP
