OneDrive search issue

I was looking for a file containing PTO days. I forgot where I put it so I searched the full D: drive. (I partition my drive. D: is for data).

I entered "PTO*.xls*" as the name of the file. The search did not return any results. I knew I had created the file. Finally, I opened Excel and I found the file in my mapped OneDrive folder.

OneDrive is located at D:\Cloud Data\OneDrive.

As the attached video shows, when the directory is D:\Cloud Data, the file is not found. When I change to D:\Cloud Data\OneDrive, the file is found.

The "Include Subfolders" option is checked. I am running 20.70.

Do I have to remember to search OneDrive separately?

Configuration | Find and Filter | Find Files & Branch View | Find Files | Follow junctions
