Thumbnail generation takes over other tabs

Whenever I am generating thumbnails for a folder with a lot of images, if I switch to another tab or to the other pane, then the new tab/pane's location gets set to the folder for which the thumbnails are being generated.

To reproduce:
- Open a folder with a lot of image files in details mode.
- Change the mode to thumbnails (Crisp to make it take while longer)
- While the thumbnails are being generated, click over to the list in other pane.

Expected:
- Thumbnails keep getting generated in the first pane, while I am able to proceed with browsing in the other pane

Actual:
- As soon as I click over to the other pane, the active tab in the new pane gets set to images folder, and thumbnails start getting generated in this pane.

You are aware that XY doesn't do multi-threading?
So this is unlikely to work the way you expect it.

Even without multi-threading, I think it's possible to simply cancel the thumbnail generation if focus is lost from the pane/tab instead of the disruptive way it currently changes any newly navigated tab to the image folder with thumbnail generation in-progress. Which I don't think is the intended way it's supposed to function.

Next version will stop thumbnails creation when you try to switch tab or pane.
