SC: sendkeys and {ESC}

In one of my scripts I use (apparently undocumented ?) command sendkeys: focus; sendkeys "{Esc}"; in order to clear type ahead. Since at least the 20.60.0401 I am getting the message: "Script terminated by ESC.", although the script seems to run further. Could this be changed? Thanks.

Seems to be gone in 20.70 (have not noticed it in any change log). Thanks!!
