Highlight hovered items

Post by Bee »

Thanks for the new feature, but it unfortunately crashes XYplorer for me when I navigate between different drives and folders in the panes. When I disable the feature the problem goes away. I'm using Windows 10.

Cannot reproduce. How do you navigate?

I navigate without using the tree (when I use the tree the crash doesn't seem to happen), by double clicking inside the pane to move in and out of folders and up and down the folder structure.

Still not. :|

Can you reproduce it with a fresh version?

With a clean install and the highlighting function enabled everything works fine. It must be one of my customisations, then. Should I post a screenshot of something specific?

You could send me your XYplorer.ini file by email.

Is there a way to remove my personal information first, other than editing the ini by hand, I mean.

Unfortunately not yet (this is a planned feature).

Alternatively screenshots of the first Configuration pages ("Tree and List" thru "Styles") might be enough.

Thanks!

One more question: Do you use a Locked Tree, and/or Full Row Select?

Locked Tree: no
Full Row Select: yes

Just saw your post - maybe I'll just disable the feature for now and hope it'll get resolved in some future version. Thanks a lot for your help anyway.

Just wanted to let you know that at some point during the last updates the problem has fixed itself and the feature no longer crashes the program.

I'm not a strong believer in self-fixes but thanks for the good news. :)
