Good question. Does this also happen with a fresh instance?

That screenshot was taken from a fresh instance (started from XY with ::fresh;).

Really? You run Win7 in classic mode (=Win95 mode)?

Well, I cannot explain it. This is not normal. :|

Is this new??? Can you test an older version from the fridge: https://www.xyplorer.com/freezer.php?

Wait! Maybe Voodoo at work.

The original report might have been with 20.50.0200, but I am not sure.

I have just tested it with fresh on another Win7 machine: The old GUI is there!! That was with 20.50.0201.

Now I downloaded 20.50.0202 and tested it on that another Win7 machine: The old GUI is there too!!

No idea, but my screenshot was definitely from fresh (and yep, classic used here).

I have taken 20.50.0200 out of the fridge in the meantime and tested: No problems, the old GUI is there.

Can not explain. Will make tests on the original PC in the evening.

I think Voodoo is a good enough explanation.

Ah sorry, I didn't even realize that Preview Tab was there.

I get the same situation. if panel is open or has been opened, then no volume lowering.

Your screenshot does not show the latest beta version. Note that I tried a fix in v20.50.0115.

Sorry again (my head's all over the place - boiler broken down last Friday, but anyway), guess what?

You fixed it :appl: (for me at least). Not once has the volume lowered using this version.

Thanks. :biggrin:

Does Windows Explorer preview it correctly?

What output do you get from executing this: text get("previewhandler", "flac");
from the address bar?

Thanks, for the fast reply ;)
I get: "No preview handler found for flac files." from executing : text get("previewhandler", "flac");

Am I right that Xyplorer uses the WinExplorer facilities to preview flac audio?

I wasn't aware that WinExplorer supported flac previews but I tried now, it doesn't.

Wav files are not previewing in WinExplorer but work well in XYplorer.
