When the Info Panel(the one beneath the view) is showing, and it's showing Properties(or Tags), and no files are selected in the view, the Info Panel shows nothing.
It will show infomation after you click on a file/folder. That's how it's supposed to work.
But the problem is, there're at least 3 ways to select a file.
1. click on it (this is working fine)
2. draw a selection rectangle from white space (not working)
3. Press Ctrl + A (not working)
When you select a file/file using method 2. or 3. , the Info Panel will stay blank, as if no files are selected.

Re: Info Panel not refreshed on selection
Yes, this is on purpose. A full selection (= focus + select) will trigger a preview and other things in the background. This should not happen on drag-select or Ctrl+A (which both do not alter the focus, only the selection).

Re: Info Panel not refreshed on selection
Why? I don't understand.
For eample, the view has 2 files, and I drag-select them, and want to assign some tags to them. But only to find the Tags Info Pane is blank. And I have to click on 1 file first, and then drag-select/ctrl+A them both.
It doesn't make sense!
But fine, it's a subtle thing. I've tried my best to convince you it shouldn't work this way.
