I've just tried the new v20.70.0002. The bug is still happening when creating or renaming folders

Yes, I saw it, too. Yesterday it did not show up again. But there is hope: I fixed it again. :) Next beta...

Hi Don, is it at all possible that this issue and the issue I mentioned here are related. Where I transferred all my XY folders and data including the thumbnail database files and and associated pictures to a new computer...everything identical and in the same place and all the settings of course were same. Yet XY insisted on building new caches for the identical picture folders. Could it have something to do with the photo folders and the associated dates being created on the new computer being different than the old computer? Just curious. I ended up having to rebuild everything - about 7 GB of thumbnails. I thought I had done this in the past successfully with no rebuilding necessary.

I don't think they are related.
