[Fixed] Dropping Outlook Messages

Post by Borut »

19.80.0104 does not crash anymore, but I would say it makes a probably unnecessary subdirectory under <xydata>\TEMP and can not find the dragged message there. At least so it seems to be at my place.

Update: BTW, any comments on this? viewtopic.php?f=5&t=19699

Did it work before, say in v19.80.0100?

Hmmm... 19.80.0100 seems to work without problems. But, now I see that dropping on 19.80.0104 fresh apparently works, but the file name begins with a template itself, i.e. with:
"(from)_(to)_"

0100 replaces the template correctly. So, probably some options constellation.

Both fresh and my portable have the same template for dropped messages:
<from>_<to>_<subject>_<date yyyy-mm-dd_hh-nn-ss>

My 0104 reports in (auto generated) Custom Move dialogue:

Moving Failed
Das System kann den angegebenen Pfad nicht finden.
Source file: .....\xyplorer\Data\Temp\XYplorer\<correctly expanded template>
Target file: <correct destination>\<correctly expanded template>

You mean "<from>_<to>_"?

Sorry, I was not quite precise, since only "<from>_<to>_" would be real template, as you write.

However, the file name started with, verbatim between the quotes: "(from)_(to)_"
