[FIXED] Properties Pane date input muddles date formats

I recorded myself editing dates in the properties info pane, twice.
First time, system and XY date format matches: m/d/yyyy.
The second time, they do not match: m/d/yyyy vs mm/dd/yyyy.

When XY's date format matches system, date entry works fine.
But, when they don't match:
the date is displayed in XY's format, even while editing it, but interprets the value in system format when applying it.
So as you see during the 2nd date entry, even though i don't touch the value at all, just activating the input switches dd and mm places.

Wow, confirmed, and quite tricky to fix. That will take an evening...
