VirtualBox Extension Pack icons do not show in XYplorer

VirtualBox Extension Pack icons do not show. Instead, the file, which has a ".vbox-extpack" extension, appears with a generic white icon.
This happens at every icon size and even after refreshing icon cache in XYplorer.
Icons for ".vbox", ".vmdk" and ".vdi" filetypes appear just fine.
In Explorer, all the icons are also correctly shown, including the ".vbox-extpack" (green box icon).

Is this to be expected (maybe due to some quirk in VirtualBox filetype settings) or is it maybe due to a bug in XYplorer?

In case you may want to check this out, I noticed moments ago that the icons for foobar2000 components also do not show in XYplorer.
The extension in this case is also quite long (e.g.: "foo_AdvancedControls.fb2k-component").
