Caret stops blinking in in-line rename

I don't know if this is a bug or expected. When doing an in-line rename, after moving the cursor with the arrow keys to somewhere in the filename it blinks about 5 times and then stops blinking.

Reproduced.

No need to move the cursor with the arrow keys. Just hit F2 on a file and wait 5 blinks.

And every time you move the cursor, it resets the counter and starts blinking again 5 times until it stops or you move the cursor again.

I meant: "Is Win10 again the culprit?" It was a question to the universe... a sigh.

Well I suppose so since it's doing it on Windows 10 File Explorer as well. It could be by design actually. They probably figure you don't need it blinking in your face indefinitely if you're not doing anything such as moving the cursor.

Yes, I bet that's it. Like the mouse pointer vanishes over YouTube after some seconds.

So we can sort this as "not a bug".

Cannot reproduce on Windows 2016 Server. Might be something new in latest Win10 versions.

But I tested it on Windows Server 2019 (test installation) and there it is in fact reproducible, the line stops blinking :) .
They seem to "Save energy" with this "improvement" :) ...
