GUI all squashed up when opening

Since the update i am having problems with the GUI being all squished up on reopening. I am not 100% sure but it could be when the computer has been in suspend and the app is reopened that the problems arises.

I always have "minimise to tray" checked, so the app is mostly always in memory.

A proper exit and reload sorts it out but it's happening too often to put up with now.

Steps--
First xy was in background and when i clicked the app in the taskbar it showed like above
