Gfx glitch when deleting from folder tree
Hi, I'm currently using XYPlorer 19.10 but for the this and the past few beta releases I've encountered the following error:
When deleting a child folder in the folder tree, it gets deleted correctly but the tree doesn't update correctly and shows a blank line where the sub-folder used to be. Even when I refresh it, it stays there.
In the example below, I created a folder called "New Folder" inside the "___MugPhotos" folder and then from the tree view right-mouse clicked on "New Folder" and chose DELETE.
This is a regular installed hard drive (not a removable/portable drive), if that info is of any use to you. I do have a 500GB Samsung 960 Evo M.2 NVMe PCIe installed (that's my D: drive) which I think an earlier version of XYPlorer did think was a portable drive.
EDIT: Correct spelling error

OK, that totally looks like viewtopic.php?f=2&t=19250
So, it's not as exotic as I thought but probably some recent fresh bug. I see if I can reproduce it...

Still cannot make it happen here.

Re: Gfx glitch when deleting from folder tree
For what it's worth, I've found that if I have XYplorer open and can see various folders (for example D:\) then if I open Windows Explorer and browse to D:\ and then delete any folder from W.E. then XYplorer will auto-refresh correctly and not show the gfx glitch.
If I can help you debug this any further please let me know what you need.

Re: Gfx glitch when deleting from folder tree
I think these two problems are related viewtopic.php?f=2&t=19323
and if you use the attached configuration file you can reproduce the bug by following steps:
create a folder on the desktop Desktop\folder1\folder2
delete the folder2 from the list
If you do not want to look into this problem again nobody can blame you
Please accept my sincere greetings

@Don
He's right. Get his config file from the other thread and create those two folders and then delete the folder2 e.g. from the context menu in the tree for it.
