Could this be an issue due to PDF being stored network?

Hi Thanks for the link and Tips

I have no Adobe programs installed.
I am using a purchased version of PDF-XChange V7 (latest update).

I copied a large folder of pdf's to my desktop, and I can confirm its not a network issue, as the problem still happens when previewing.

I am using XYplorer 19.00.0300.

The previewing of PDF's is a large part of my working day; I will have to stop using XY and revert to windows

Any further help will be appreciated

This is my advice, I would disable your current preview handler (it has instructions in the links already provided), and install SumatraPDF, only the preview handler, you can still use what you want for your other PDF needs, I can confirm I have never had a crash using it, or you can install the PDF X-Change Viewer, and just use the preview handler from that, apparently no one has problems with it, again the link to it is within the links I already provided.

Also you could report this issue to the makers of PDF-XChange, because the crash is caused by its preview handler, causing XY to crash.

I tried Sumatra PDF, but this didn't work
I disabled the PDF XChange-Editor preview handler and I installed the preview handler for PDF XChange-Viewer and this seems to have worked

I will report the issue the Tracker
