XY on second screen when there is none

I use a Surface Pro 4 with a second screen 95% of the time and often XY is open on that second screen. On the occasions when I shut down and restart without the second screen XY opens on the second (now virtual) screen and I am unable to get it back onto the main screen and am forced back to using File Explorer. Perhaps and issue with XY (version 18.30) or Surface or Win 10 but all other applications realise that the second screen is not present and work fine? Any suggested fixes would be helpful?

Did you try the keyboard shortcut to move the window from screen 2 to screen 1?

• Select the XYplorer window on the taskbar.
• Use Win+Shift+LeftArrow to move XYplorer window to the desktop on the left.
• Or, use Win+Shift+RightArrow to move XYplorer window to the desktop on the right.

XYplorer checks about the screens at startup and makes sure it comes up visible. Don't know why this would not work in your case.
